This model is known for its “Black Beauty” aesthetic (three pickups) combined with specific modifications Page made to his original instrument. It is a highly limited, painstaking recreation of the 1960 Les Paul Custom that Jimmy Page used in the early days of Led Zeppelin.
Waffleback tuners modification to Grover beautifully recreated, as per Jimmy Page modification (The 1960 Les Paul Customs “Black Beauty” originally came equipped with Kluson Waffleback tuners (specifically, gold-plated Wafflebacks with pearloid tip)).
